Helikon-Tex Womens Wolfhound Hoodie Jacket

Insulated women's jacket with hood, wind-resistant and water-repellent

Anyone who sets off in the wind in the morning and stands in drizzle at noon does not want to change layers three times. The Wolfhound Hoodie Jacket for women from Helikon-Tex combines wind protection, warmth and a hood in a lightweight insulated jacket: a Windpack nylon shell lined with Climashield Apex (67 g/m²).

Construction and materials

The outer layer is a tightly woven Windpack nylon at 40 g/m², fast-drying and wind-resistant according to the manufacturer. The hydrophobic coating repels light rain, moisture and dirt. The synthetic Climashield Apex insulation keeps its warmth even when wet according to the manufacturer. VersaStretch panels under the arms give room for dynamic movement.

Hood, cuffs and pockets

The padded, ergonomically shaped hood is adjustable and finished with an elastic edge. Elastic cuffs on the sleeves and an elastic hem keep the wind out. Four pockets with YKK zips: two hand pockets lined with light fleece, a chest pocket for things that need to be at hand quickly, and an inner pocket for documents and valuables. A hook-and-loop panel on the sleeve takes patches.

In use in wind and light rain

Made for outdoors and everyday wear: the walk with the dog in the morning wind, a rest at the side of the trail, the train ride to the start of a hike. The jacket compresses easily and fits folded into a backpack.
